2nd Prof Layton Movie

The Second Movie (Working Title: The Towering Silence)
After the announcement on the official Professor Layton Twitter on August 8th, the film went into production with the premise that it would be based between the 5th (Mask of Miracle) and 6th (Unannounced of yet) Games.

Future entries
Level-5 has confirmed that a sixth game is being made, to take place after Mask of Miracle.[8]
Level 5 CEO Akihiro Hino has expressed interest in porting the series to Wii U.[1]
Additionally, there are plans for two further movies. One of these is stated to be an animated addition to the prequel trilogy like Eternal Diva before it, and the other is planned to be filmed in live-action.[9]

Also!
The fourth game in the series, released for the Nintendo DS in Japan during 2009 and North America on October 4th, 2011(Confirmed by Clayblob). It will be known in Europe and Australia as Professor Layton and the Spectre's Call. It is, chronologically, the first game in the series.

You know what. I think in this age that we live in, people hardly compliment people. People don't thank people for simply being there and existing, and I realised that yesterday, and decided to write this post.

So last Wednesday (17th) marked halfway through high-school for us.

Year 9, Term 3, Week 5, Wednesday, 12PM.

It's amazing, isn't it?
I won't talk about changes and what-not because I'll go on a tangent and this will be too long than expected.

In other news!
Duke of Edinburgh was considerably less fun for me this time; less enjoyable.

Perhaps it was because our group was smaller and we lost many exciting people.
Or perhaps it was because KAAAAAAAAAAAAARL was in Italy ~~to escape from us~~ on holiday
Or perhaps it was because we were pushed much harder this time due to time shortages & less breaks.
Or perhaps it was because it wasn't all that 'new' anymore.

Either way, last time was much more exciting and thrilling.

With the NOONG AH and SHARK-BAIT OOH HA HA-ing. Not to mention the riddles and the KRUM-ing.
And let's not forget the camp-fire and going crazily-high and what-not.

I miss it.

So I was ~~stalking~~ on facebook when I saw a group name called this:
'When I was younger I used to take my mum or dad's phone to play Snake'

And I was reminded of how true that was. Didn't you guys ever take it and play snake?
Snake was the bomb. It was the. Game.

I used to play it all the time. Black and white? Pft. The snake has no head? Pft. Who cared about graphics back then?

And although, I do admit, sometimes I could get very far in the game, lose, and then become very very angry. Ragequiting at such a young age...

I mean, now, we have DSs, computers, other phone games-- it's crazy. Back then I had one game, and that's providing if my parents let me play it.

Remember all those games? All that creativity we had as a kid? Making up games, making cubbyhouses, cardboard things, etc.

Computers, if I ever got my hand on one, were useful for two things.

Paint, and 3D Pinball.
Wow. '3D' Pinball. Now-a-days, '3D' has an entirely different meaning and dimension.

I was playing it again (pinball) the other day. Quite addicting, still.

It's amazing how things have changed... In little than 10 years we've gone from huge chunky computers the size of school bags (not to mention that this is only including the MONITER.), to paper-thin computers with heaps of space and what-not.

However, I still do have an old computer at home, and i still do play with it because we're asian and refuse to throw it away.

I also have old records and a 20 year old scooter. Hurrah.

I just realised that before I read the books, which was about a year ago, I actually knew so little about Harry Potter that it's amazing how much I've changed in so little time.

I used to think Malfoy was Draco's first name.

I didn't even know who Draco was.

Nor Snape's first name.

I was convinced he was evil (okay, that's not really surprising)

I actually had no idea who McGonagall was (and all the other teachers, except Dumbledore and Snape)

Didn't know who Luna was.

Who's Sirius? Remus? Pettigrew? James?

I guess most of the plot I didn't know, but many of the characters basic facts (like names).

EVEN THOUGH I WATCHED THE FIRST MOVIE ALREADY.

Thankfully, today is actually better than yesterday. I've just had headaches and a runny nose.

But this leaves me with the dilemma of whether I should come to school tomorrow.

Usually, I wouldn't... But DoE form is due tomorrow, and unless I come to school, there is no way I can hand it in.

Unless of course, someone picks it up, or I scan it for them, they re-print, and then hand in.

However, I'm thinking of turning up to school, handing it in, then leaving.

I had the option of NimbusIce, but I guess being in a rush to finish the registration form sort of compelled me to choose it. I don't know. 'Purple' --> I like purple --> I'll just choose that.

Nothing else has happened since; nothing interesting, that is.

Tumblr literally exploded when nothing came up on the pottermore website at 5pm. People were saying it was supposed to come out (the clue) at 8am British time, i.e., 5pm. However, it didn't, and so I went to take a shower.

Although, I was a bit disappointed it wasn't actually 'finding' the quill. You sort of use your brains to think it out.

SO I WATCHED HP7

So I watched it at midnight.

It. Was. Epic.

~~I won't spoil~~; but I was disappointed at the ending, however, the movie was awesome.

I have never cried so much or so hard in a movie before. I actually lost count.

I wept so badly. It was actual sobbing.

There were so many cosplayers as well :S Made me feel so bad.

HOWEVER, we did agree that we dressed as muggles, and it was by-far the most accurate cosplaying there. ;D

Ate at max brenners too.

For some strange and absurd reason, a Breaking Dawn trailer played before the movie. Only one trailer (before the behind the scenes), and it was a twilight one. .____.

Someone should have stood up and said something like
'CEDRIC'S STILL ALIVE!'

But we were too disgusted and surprised/shocked to do it.

After the movie Mel and I could hardly breathe :S

You guys should see it. Definitely. It was one of the best hp movies, if not THE best.

However, they did sort of cut some bits out that I thought they should have left in, ~~but you can't have everything.~~

I won't post too much about it~~; don't want to spoil~~, but I did cry heaps.

I think 5-6 times? And that's not including tearing up ;A;

We didn't sleep much; slept at past 4am. Got up at 1pm.

But it was worth it.

What really happened when Voldemort was around?

Rita Skeeter, one of the survivors, tells all.

It seems almost yesterday when the darkest years of wizarding history had befallen us. Not many truly knew the horrors that were conjured. They were grim times, and many did not live to tell the tale truthfully; memory charms, insanity, just to name a few, and yet those who did survive received somewhat glory… Glory for surviving, a near impossible task.

The first time… the terrible events are still vivid in my mind. Nobody knew who was who, were they a death eater? Or one of the good wizards? Betrayers, spies, and back-stabbers roamed the wizarding world, slowing bringing the downfall of the Ministry of Magic, and giving power to the half-blood wizard, Voldemort. If I were to be telling this tale back in those times, I’d have replaced Voldemort with ‘you-know-who’; people were absolutely scared sick of the darkest wizard who ever lived, even just the name of him flooded people with panic. People from both worlds, muggles and wizards, were being murdered, up to a hundred a day. Every day, news of more deaths, torturing, and disappearances… It was no wonder that everyone feared for themselves and their family, for even the greatest wizards had fallen at the hands of Lord Voldemort.

What eventually brought the ‘downfall’ of Voldemort, and I’m sure you all know who I’m about to mention, was Harry Potter. Although what exactly really happened is still shrouded in mystery, there is sufficient information to determine what probably unfolded on that fateful day. Harry, the son of Lily and James Potter, was targeted by Voldemort, after he was relayed a prophecy, mentioning that the Dark Lord would be defeated by a boy, and Harry happened to fit all the specifications. It was because of Voldemort’s fear of being overthrown that led to the real defeat of him. Voldemort eventually was killed by his own killing curse, which just so happened to bounce off Harry. Voldemort was finally ‘gone’. And who would have known that a simple toddler would do the trick? Harry was made a hero, as all of you reading this would know, and sent to live in the muggle world with his aunt and uncles, to give him a pure childhood: without the fame.

Everybody had thought that it was over. All but one: Albus Dumbledore. Dumbledore, deemed as the greatest wizard of all time, was the only wizard Voldemort had ever truly feared. Of course there is some debate amongst the wizarding population that Voldemort had a fear for Harry, but it was certain that Dumbledore created fear in his soul, well, the soul he had left in him.

Together, after several years, Dumbledore and Harry Potter finally set out to destroy the horcruxes of Voldemort. Horcruxes: a part of a wizard’s soul, was a horrible piece of magic. Who better to have created horcruxes than Voldemort? This time, Dumbledore had unravelled more secrets; this time he knew more. In order to truly defeat Voldemort, all his horcruxes must be destroyed first.

All too soon, the Dark Lord rose again. Some say even stronger than before. Driven by his greed and his longing for revenge of the boy, he ravaged the nation far worse than the first time. Great aurors and wizards were brought to their end by him, and nobody knew what to do, all they could do was pray that Harry Potter would bring the end to this mayhem once more. The situation was worse for Albus and Harry Potter, along with his friends Ron and Hermione. They knew that the last horcrux was created un-intentionally, and where was it? None other than inside Harry Potter himself.

How was Harry supposed to defeat Voldemort without defeating himself, where a part of himself, was simply a part of Voldemort? It was impossible. Or so thought. With the power of love once more, the only thing that The Dark Lord did not possess, Voldemort was brought down again, and this time forever.

The nation rejoiced. It was finally over. The Death Eaters knew it was over. The end of the darkest wizard of all time had finally come… but not without a cost. Dumbledore, Mad eyed Moody, Cornelius Fudge, and Rufus Scrimgeor, just to name a few, were unfortunately lost. Many wonderful witches and wizards had died in the act, but to know that the Dark Lord would never rise again was enough to sweep the world clean of misery.

So I was going through my received files; clearing my computer out, when I found this...

In most cases we think: this is true love, when in fact it’s not. But than if this ain’t love than what it is? There are plenty of things that we confuse with love.

It could be just the basic instinct. The feelings can be passionate and crazy, but in fact both people may want only sex. And after it all the misunderstanding starts, and once infatuated lovers will find out that they have nothing in common and sometimes they don’t even know what to talk with each other.

Another variant is when people lack support, care and attention to their person or they just scared to stay single. Being with someone can be a habit when one simply got used to the other. It can either be a sick addiction or some self-interest. People call all these types of relationship love just by mistake or trying to conceal the true nature of it.

But than what does real love look and feel like? Maybe it’s when two people seem to know each other for ages and even in their previous lives. They can go on talking and talking and conversation never lacks topics and never gets dull. Or people don’t have to say anything because they understand each other without words. And those moments, minutes and even hours of silence are never uncomfortable. True love is when partners complete one another, when they’re together it’s peaceful, the whole other world with it’s sufferings and problems doesn’t exist and nothing even matters.

True love means understanding. One trusts another more than him/herself and feels ready to satisfy every little need of a partner. Two people don’t stop for a second looking into each other eyes.

A young, twelve year old, male orphan named Tree-ear taken in by Crane-man, an old, crippled man to live under a bridge has been observing the potter, Min, making his work for awhile. It seems that after a meal, he would move to Min’s house to watch him create skilfully made pots. Our news team has been watching him silently trying to mimic Min’s movements, indicating the boy has a distinct interest in pottery-making.

Sneaking In
Rumours have it that Tree-ear has begun to work with Min! This is in fact the truth as one day when Tree-ear snuck in to look at art, a particular piece caught his attention, a plain old box. As he looked inside it, there were more boxes, fitting within each other perfectly. At the yell of Min returning and seeing the boy, Tree-ear dropped it, and is now working for the man for nine days, as the box took three to make.

Becoming a Disciple
After the nine days it was heard that Tree-ear had offered the potter his assistance for no fees, hoping he would be able to learn how to make pots. However he only received tasks, none involving pottery at all. Later he learns that Min wants to uphold the tradition of passing pottery skills to his son, however, Min’s son died a few years back (refer to previous newspapers)

An imperial emissary named Kim arrived at Tree-ear’s town recently, apparently looking for a potter to make something for the emperor. Min asks of Tree-ear to take Min’s best works to the emperor in order to show him he’s up to the job.

The Shard
Tree-ear had just passed the town of Puyo, and was attacked by a bunch of robbers. He managed to avoid any direct conflict but the result of the clash was the breaking of the works. All that remained was a shard of pottery. Confident enough that this shard will still grab the attention of the emperor, Tree-ear continues on his journey.

The Revealing and Return
Finally at the palace, he was just about to be removed until the emissary, Kim, inspected the shard. Saying that it was a great piece of work, he sends Tree-ear back to Min via sea, ensuring safety and making his return a lot faster.

Emotionally Devastating
As Tree-ear returns to his home town to deliver the good news to Min, he discovers that Crane-man had passed away. Though it was shocking, he recovered quickly as he was adopted by Min. He was renamed Hyung-pil, and can now learn pottery. Currently he is enjoying his time in a family.

Well, today was my last time catching a bus with Jessica. Catching a bus to the 'dangerous place'. I will miss the times with Tanmeet, Al-amin, and Eric, and most of all Jess.

Ugh, it was a freaken horrible day.

Morning; got to school super-early. Waited for ages. Stressing out because not enough people going on Jap trip.

Science; being super confused about valencies of radicals and compounds and who-knows-what.

Recess; chasing back money, [didn't end up getting it all back] being mindforked, being trolled, and having my bag ripped apart. Literally. And then Ash's horrible revenge of dumping 931402kg of coins on me.

English; getting no work done, ~~but that's alright. lol.~~

Lunch; canteen running out of food besides instant noodles, and the line being huge. Ending up buying a cookie that wasn't heated, and ate that for lunch. Hurrah.

Reports; receiving worst report marks in my life. lololol. ~~However, my parents weren't that mad.~~

Math; Getting super mind-confused by work. ASDF.

Busbay; Jess getting rejected from the bus by some silly bus-driver. And let's not forget Tanmeet getting a super-hardcore nose-bleed because a certain SOMEONE hitting her in the nose with a poster. Oh god it was horrible. Practically the worst nosebleed I've ever seen. That was probably the worst thing today.

Bus; Realising that it was my last ever bus ride with Jess (unless it's just a special occasion) and freaking out, reminiscensing, sobbing, laughing, spazzing, bro-hugging, etc etc.

Parra; Saying dramatic goodbyes, having last moments with Jess.

Friends house; I spilt the milk. And her dog kept harassing me. ~~lol.~~

But really, what an awesome way to end the term yeah?

Commerce adventures

Like you all know, I have a certain teacher for Commerce, and we all know he can get angry sometimes. Very angry.

So today, at recess, I bought some lemon tea because I was feeling sleepy.

Turns out I didn't screw the lid on tight enough.

Basically, in commerce, it all leaked out. Literally, all of it.

A huge puddle of lemon tea on the carpet, of his (teacher) room.

That wasn't good.

but, thankfully, he was in a good mood, and was making jokes about it. I swear, I've never felt so relieved. Okay, maybe I have. It's a figure of speech.

In other news, I was doing my history assignment and I right-clicked to copy a picture.

Ugh. Never have I wished to be less indecisive as much as right now.

My problem;

You all know that I'm moving, and the house that I live in currently, has a huge back-yard which my dog runs free in. The complication is that my parents want to give/sell my dog, Ronnie, to the people who bought our house. They apparently like the dog.

The problem? I don't want to give him away.

Reasons for giving Ronnie away-

My new house hardly has any backyard, and if we were to move there (which we are) we'd have to fence off a much smaller area (Around 3 x 4m) for my dog (In comparison to his 10 x 5m yard now)

Ronnie'd be happier (?) if he stayed; more familiar, and have much more freedom.

Also, my parents don't want me to live through the sorrow of finding, or seeing, my dog's dead body. We all know he's growing old. I've had him for, what, 10 years. Dogs live 10-15 years. They said we'd still visit him, but really? Would we? I doubt they'd be bothered to go all the way back here, and do you really thing the owners would like us just coming to visit him?

I know I'll be severely affected when he does die, so, I guess I see their point of view.

Reasons for not giving him away-

Well, I've had him ever since I was young. I hardly remember life without my dog, and I basically treat him like family. It's hard to watch or let these things go, you know?

Just thinking about letting my dog go makes my eyes water; ~~yes, I know. I'm a wuss.~~ Deal with it.

I mean, I'd rather be the person who spent the last moments with my dog, rather than just one day turn up and find out that he died.

This is such a hard decision for me. I think I still mainly stick by not letting him go, because if I did... well, I'd never stop regretting it.

I'd regret so much, that I let him go; that I did not get to spend his last moments with him.

I just don't know.

What do you guys think?

Dogs are... different. Specially when they've lived with you for over 70% of your life.

However, I promised myself ages ago that I'd stay strong, no matter what, so I'll be alright. Don't worry about me.

Hmm. Today I walked into a tree, tripped over a stick, and stumbled on tiles.

I'm a bit disappointed at walking into a tree, but that's ok.

So, today was cold. Cold and wet.

And writing comp; I only found out today. :S
It was alright, but I really regret writing huge at the beginning. I used practically half a page for my intro, then I realised I had to write smaller.

I ended up writing two lines below the last line, ~~but that's okay!~~

Who actually reads my blog anymore? I think my advertising only had a short-term effect on the amount of readers.

Once again I bought pins;

Yeah; I can't find my old ones. I think they either got stolen when that person broke into my house and took my school bag, OR I lost them.

And here's some cranes we made. Of course, not ALL today, but some of them were made today.

Anyway, so about Tom Felton.

He did a seminar, and at first we just took ~~stalker~~ photos of him;

But then we got closer.

And guess what, in the end, Ruby and I decided to pool our money together and take a photo with him.

IT WAS SO EPIC.

Here's our awesome story.

It's such a cool story; I'll be sure to tell it at parties.

So we buy tickets at 1:00 (approx) for taking photos at 4.

So we go off, walking around, until 3:40, hence, we go and line up.

The line is massive; it goes back and forth:

v^v^v^ Uh, it's sort of like that, except curvy. And more narrow.

So we line up there for about 20 minutes, then overhear something about there being

two lines.

Turns out, we were lining in the AUTOGRAPH line.

So we spazz out and run around, eventually finding the end of the actual line.

We're at the end, and are last. Eventually, more people line up behind us, and most of them actually did the same thing: lined up in the wrong line.

Soooooo, after making cranes to past the time, we eventually got to the front, after an hour.

So, it's our turn. We go in.

He looks at us and says 'Hello ladies (LOL OLD SPICE REFERENCE). How're you going today?'

I think we forgot to reply and just walked up.

I vaguely recall the only thing going through my mind when we were taking the photo;

Buuuuut, it was very fun. Very tiring too.

The food at Supanova was ridiculously priced; $7.50 for a hot dog, which wasn't that nice either: bread and a hot dog.

$8 for chips and chicken nuggets/calamari rings.

And $3.50 for a bottle of water.

...Seriously?

We saw a Layton cosplay, Kay Faraday cosplay, Phoenix cosplay, not to mention another bunch of cool cosplays.

Oh my god it was awesome.

Although I was very, very, very tired afterwards.

or something of the sort?

Why do five people like it? Does that mean they LIKE when someone destroys everything they had, and takes you for granted? That would be the LOGICAL conclusion.

I'd be a troll and correct them, but they'd all rage at me for ruining a perfectly good status, of course.

In other news, today, the bus ride was... ridiculous.

We caught the 2594 because we had to get to Parra earlier, and once again, it was extremely crowded.
Almost got cut off again; the teacher actually DID cut us off, but Tanmeet just spazzed out and shoved me on, screaming something like 'GET ON GET ON'. Jess also then did the epic 'reach out' motion and pulled me on.

Oh boy. It was so crowded. For some odd, strange reason; or perhaps no reason at all, Tanmeet tickled me suddenly.

This was, of course, during the bus ride, and it happened to be when the bus was slowing down and speeding up and basically being very unstable and hard to balance on, especially when everyone's in your bubble of space and there's a foot protruding into your arm, you're having awkward hand touching with two people, and there's another netbook case jabbing into your waist.

So, naturally, I spazzed out and screamed. I bent forwards, like anyone would, and my hands let go of the two railings I was half-holding on to. This was a bad decision.

I then proceeded to fall forward, but like a pro, gained my balance. However, the bus then sped up, and I fell backwards. Tanny tried to hold me, and I naturally grabbed onto her. Instead of pulling me up, I pulled her down, and I fell backwards, henceforth sitting onto Jess as she bent her knees co-incidentally.

So I was there, sitting on Jess while she tried to hold onto both of us, and Tanmeet fell forwards onto me and then elbowed a Year 8 in his privates. She was screaming and laughing, I was screaming and laughing, Jess was screaming and laughing.

This commotion was constantly interrupted with Jess shouting "SUMII GET UP. YOU'RE SITTING ON ME." and I would reply by shouting at Tanmeet: "TANMEET GET UP". And Tanmeet would just laugh.

To further add to this noise, Kalyan and uhm, what's his name. Marlin, in Year 8, were laughing at Kevin, who was the guy Tanny elbowed. He had a pained expression and was bending forwards slightly.

Eventually, Tanny got up, I got up, and we apologized while half-laughing.

Oh boy. It happened so quickly.

ANYWAY. Making cranes. Bye.
